    glad your making progress

"The gear (7) looks like the connecting rod has slipped inside of the (7) gear (I can see shiny marks from it spinning which wouldn't be there had it not been spinning). The connecting rod is almost completely rounded smooth."

thought the gear and drive shaft were stripped ? did you get new parts?

"The oil that came out was a little cloudy so I'm going to run it for a few seconds tomorrow then change it"

cloudy could mean water in oil or aerated ,either way definitely change it and monitor after running

My dad (has two mastertechs) thinks that I'm imagining that its spinning and that its shaped like its supposed to. I plan on running the car and then seeing if i have oil pressure before i pull apart the bottom.

I got the battery charged up and everything reassembled tonight and now the starter is grinding. Which is weird because there was no sounds or anything when i last ran it. In all honesty i think that this car is cursed. On the bright side there is a shiny new (read old) 2002 sitting in my driveway.;D
