Right now I have 666 adapter, it's just clears the motor mounts though, I might build my own if I get more confident with my tig welder. I'm doing a stroker 2.8 with a precision 5858 dbb turboComment

Sounds like a lot of work, haha. I was going to fully rebuild my m20 with forged internals and upgraded rockers, oring block, welded water passages and then just run the standard hx35 with the best twin scroll manifold I could find (hard to come by though). Was also gonna run ms3.
Really want the twin scroll as I want my boost threshold to be as low as possible for street driving.

That's kind of what Im doing my bottom end is all forged and im going to run a performance head from bimmerheads. I was planning on using a hx35 at first and I have a brand new one if you want it I'll sell it to you.Comment

With a Z45 cam or similar I don't think you really need twin scroll. I can post my dyno sheet with a PT67 T4 single.E30 325ix M50 turbo 7 spd DCT 4wd 840awhp @ 31 psi.

That would be helpful...
I am guessing that a z45 can will lift the exhaust valve just a hair sooner and allow some of the still combusting charge through the manifold? Almost like a small anti-lag setup?

I was planning on using a head from bimmerheads with the 280/274 cam, would you suggest the z45 cam over that and why?Last edited by nomansland92; 12-26-2014, 09:30 AM.Comment
