I figured why not? I sent a lowball offer the last day and he accepted.

you can barely buy a new chain for what I paid. Not that a new chain is cheap..

I'm going to put my other one together with the brand new VC, seals, etc. and sell it I think. or keep it. I dunno, I probably don't need 3 working transfercases.

Gahhh I had a feeling it was you. Really kicking myself, I sent him an offer a few days before it ended. Thought it was such a lowball offer I never checked back. Turns out he accepted and sent me a counter offer to make it work with using my UPS account. Never checked back, never accepted his counter offer... major sad face. Talked with him a bunch though, really cool guy. lmk if you want to flip the t-case haha

Heh yeah, lucky me! I was kicking myself for not getting one when they were under $1500.

I would have been ok not getting it, but I'm glad i have it. All i need is a front diff and i can start mocking up my oil pan. :)

Anyone know of a brand new front and rear 3.91 diff i can get for a song? :|

                a new chain is $900.

a new VC is $600 or so

new sprockets (if one is damaged) - $600+

then you still have old bearings, gaskets, and seals. The seals add up to like $180. I haven't priced bearings lately.. and some stuff is just NLA.
It's stuff like this that makes me sick to think about. I never want to rebuild my TC.

exactly. that's why when this popped up, I jumped on it!

if I could somehow snag new front and rear differentials the only "old" part left would be my rear CV shafts..
