Rial Milano wheels 16x6.5 + 40 mm offset

    Ok

Im researching this wheel and I believe I can make these work on an IX with only a set of hubcentric rings.

I wanted to post it just to make sure.

Rial Milano wheels 16x6.5 +40mm offset - came off a mini cooper supposedly.

    will these work?

So - discovering this thread - I may have made a mistake - 56.1 Mini cooper vs 57.1 BMW.. http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=233160

not quite sure this will work without machining..

Owner states that he has a hub centric ring in it - for a mini and that they were an aftermarket purchase - states hub ring is 63.3 to 56.1 ..

So I am assuming the ET of 40 is safe..? and that I can order a centering ring of 63.3 to 57.1?

      to work on an IX..?

yeah, et40 is plenty high enough (stock is 41), and you should be able to find the hubcentric rings no problem, I went with aluminum rings for mine but plastic is ok too. If you run 5mm spacers it will put the rim in almost the exact position as stock

doesn't seem worth it to me for a 6.5" wide wheel, unless you're going to run 195s.

It would be great for a winter wheel though
