New 325 turbo build opinions wanted

Hello, i am going to buy an E30 325is and would like to do some conversions to it. I was thinking S54 but that might be a little expensive (i don't know the exact cost of swapping that, but if someone did know the cost, it would be much appreciated) now i am more leaning towards an s52 swap with a turbo.

Are there any better options for swapping/turbo if my all around budget for the engine and work on it is 5-7K (not including the car itself).

First off this is an ix section, this should be in the M20 section or better yet FI. Secondly a S54 swap is very expensive, I've heard people drop the 10k word around when discussing S54 swaps. Third off I'd just do a M52 and turbo. A S52 costs a lot more than a M52 and if you're already planning on FI then save your self some money and use a M52 as your base.
