    Rear driveshaft question

First off thanks for the help on previous questions ive had. I rebuilt my tc on a previous owner at to mt swap and collapsed the rear driveshaft by prying between the dshaft flange and tc flange, not by turning the nut. The nut is now in the collar and i cant pull the shaft out to uncollapse. I have no idea whats in the rear of the driveshaft( before the ujoint)that gave way, i cant find a breakdown. If removed can the shaft be split?

Should be able to loosen the nut and with the front half still bolted in, tap the rear flange with a rubber hammer to pull back out. Yes, that's all that holds the two halves together.
