Quick brake question

Hey Guys,

Can't seem to find the answer to this question in the interwebs...

Are the ix front and rear brake calipers the same as the regular e30's?

yes.

but note that there are two types of calipers for E30s - Girling and ATE - and they use a different mounting bracket. Usually the calipers come with a bracket though.

How about brake dust shields front and rear? I believe they are ix specific....

the fronts are ix specific for sure. Not sure about the rear - they may be the same.

Rears dust shields are the same. Rear rotors are different...
