Not pretty but here's one:
When you get the diff, I would recommend opening it up to check the gears and for smoothness. Dump diff fluid in and out of it several times to get it as clean and smooth as possible. Install, run it for several miles. Then flush it again. You never know how long these used pieces have been sitting around. You want no dirt/grit or water in there at all.
Not the easiest job but pretty straight forward. Remember the diff is heavy so support it well when lowering it out of the car, and also when installing the replacement.
