325 IX M Tech 1 out of factory?

It seems that my IX was mtech out of factory, anyone know how that happen?
Are they rare breed of IX

that lists your car as a (very well optioned) rear wheel drive 325i.

there's a VIN stamped into the cowl between where the windshield washers are - you should check to see if it agrees with what you looked up.

The VIN is definitely a 325i, but the pictures are an ix - so, uhh, how much of this car's history do you know of? Could it have been to a chop shop where they swapped VIN numbers or even a front clip?

Could just be a dash swap due to the old one being cracked. The vin tag comes off easily, but maybe they forgot or got lazy.

Check the vin stamped into the cowl as kronus said.
