I wish
Soo I had a "friend" doing this for me since he had more "time" but the project had taken close to 1.5yrs, I bailed while I was ahead, I have it at home and I am waiting for the weather to warm up, the Midwest gets to -35deg F at times
Anyway, I shall take pics and post my slow progress starting this spring, what he did was cut the bell-housing and mated it to match the 6 speed, tranny overal is a tad longer, thus extended the front driveshaft, did a hybrid of the oil pan, e46 M3 clutch, I still need a custom rear driveshaft. SO I have to cut some tin out to properly fit the tranny as I believe that it is a little long, done already, custom engine mounts, wire harness is complete. M50 machined and gaskets all refeshened. Basically what will hurt is doing this as someone else started, I hate that lol.

How did he mate the transfer case to the 6 speed? Cutting and welding home made stuff?
Are you using E30ix front diff?E30 325ix M50 turbo 7 spd DCT 4wd 840awhp @ 31 psi.
E30 M50 6 spd 764whp @ 24psi.

Adapter plate of some kind
He cut out the bell housing off the 6 speed and made and adapter and welded it to the IX/M50 bellhousing, he owns a machine shop for this. He then also kept the original ix Front diff and mated the M50 oil pan to the IX oil pan, he changed the oil pump and rewelded for the oild dip stick. I had all these pics on my cell phone and then I changed phones and there you go lost all of them..Comment

New colgan bra and euro smilies.

Ignoring the fact that the euro smilies look better than sealed beams, the difference in light output from the sealed beams I had previously is very noticeable. Great upgrade/what should have been in there from the start.
Mind you I think the US elipsoids look good as well.

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.Comment

Hi this is my first post on this forum, this is my second e30. A beautiful 325ix 1988 with 5 speed manuel and every option possible except sport seats(don't get why?maybe in canada). I have the original receipt of the car and the only option added were leather seat and mettalic paint...46 000$ here in canada
Drives like new, have a shitload of maintenance receipt and few rust for a quebecer 25 yo car. Will be puttind bilstein and h&r spring when i'll put the bbs back and a hartge rear valence and a is lip in front.
