What diff in an iX auto

Anyone know what they put in the Auto's? I don't think I am going to buy this iX touring so I might as well use parts off it.

Also will the side skirts off an 4dr or touring fit on a 2dr on iX

I believe most are 4.10 open diffs, but BMW has been know to toss random stuff in from time to time. The best way to know is to get underneath the car and check.

Sorry I meant the skirts of an iX touring to fit on a 2 dr non iX.

Well one of the iX Auto's here has a 3.91

          What is a VC diff??

it should as long as you have the facelift (88+) body style.

VC stands for viscous coupling, or a round disk filled with snotty goo. :p
