    iX speed sensor

my speed sensor went out(in the rear diff) I'm showing different part #'s for the iX and regular 325's. some vendors are showing the same. Can anyone/Nando confirm or disconfirm if they are infact different? I want to just snag one from pick n pull, but there are no iX's here.

Wait for another confirmation, but i beleive that only the fronts differ from non-iX E30's.

unfortunately it looks like it's a different part - a quick cross reference says it's not used on other E30s. however it looks like it cross references with the E36 (318, 325 or 328 ) so maybe look for one of those instead.

i tried using a known good one from a 325i (e30). it looks almost the same as the iX one just a little longer. it fit w/o touching anything inside, and it even had the same connection but it did not work, but I cant see why not. It is just a magnet! I guess i will buy an iX one and see if that works.
