After taking out my front driveshaft and putting lube on the splines, I decided to do the washer shims as well as addition insurance. It doesn't hurt anything and only costs a couple of bucks. Cheaper than having shaft lengthened. -

No Problems...you only have so much room there (as in # of washers) before things start to rub. Rubbing would be the only potential problem that I could think of. The number of washers to use depends also on the thickness of the washers.Comment
