What would the transfer case and oil pan have to do with a turbo at all?

Have you searched around at all?

I suppose he's wondering how much power the t-case can handle..?

          Turbo's been done..

Do a little searching. If not here, check the iX section on e30tech.

why did he buy the wrong car? I would feel fine doing a turbo on my iX, just make it a conservative one and maintain your drive train, watch the fluids and don't dump the clutch at every light.

i chose the words wrong. for the kind of power he wants, he bought the wrong e30.

ix's are really cool and you can boost them as long as you dont get crazy with them. but then you have a car thats close to a time bomb in my eyes.

do you own an iX ?

                            turbo, or build a stroker.

eh.. this is a pretty ignorant statement, but w/e.

and yes, an E92 335i is the right car. lol.
