Locating steering knuckle for the iX

Hey, I am a new poster. I am looking for a steering knuckle for my E30 iX. MY understanding is it is a pretty rare part because I can only use steering knuckle for an AWD car. Does anyone know where I can find one?

I ended up finding both left and right fairly rust free on eBay. Paid $950 for both. That was the most expensive part of my rebuild so far. Best of luck.

What is a "steering knuckle"? Are you talking about the U-joint in the steering column?

AFAIK they are still available new, just expensive as hell. used ones are a crap shoot as they do wear over time. I actually think one from a newer car, such as an E46, could be adapted if you have some fabrication skills.
