ok guys 88 325ix just got it running and replaced the clutch slave and master (pedal was to the floor when i bought it) master ended up being issue. When the car was on jack stands i wanted to see if the AWD still works which it does. i put the car on the ground and put it in gear and it seemed like the car was dragging and i had to keep it in the revs and feather the clutch to move it. (this did not happen when car was in the air wheels spun free). i replaced the pads and rotors because they had 8 years of rust on them and cleaned up the calipers which all still worked thank god and the car rolls alot easier now but i still have to feather the clutch pedal and keep it in the revs to move the car at all. so what clutch and flywheel setups do you guys use? car is stock and staying stock. i'm going to get the flywheel resurfaced if there's anything left but if i can't what are my options everywhere i look does not have them also did it come with a factory dual or single mass flywheel and what one should i use??..... and what clutch and pressure plate should i use? just go sachs or LUK? any suggestions are greatly appreciated. just trying to get this car back to its former glory and back on the road.

If the car is staying stock then a stock replacement clutch is fine. Get the original flywheel resurfaced. I can't remember if they came with a duel mass or a single. I think it was a single. Also like Kershaw said its worthwhile to get the flywheel lightened by tanking material off the back. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
