Empirical Air Dam Design - or - go low til it drags

Not my first time making a dam. On my previous e30, a ragged '84 e, I installed the dam from the older still 530. It was huge but I loved it. This air dam is the product of to much free time and some left over fiberglass. The next time I get a bucket of money I'll get a little more resin and some putty to finish up.
About 4 inches clear and only a few spots create a scrape.

    Looking good Tom!
Did you use anything to create a shape? Or just freestyle the piece?

    Any pictures from the front?

The bottom was a wood form with plastic for a release The front edge is fuel line. The ends were freeform , used plastic sheet and gloves. Kinda fun

Neat! Did you take any photos of the process?

No, it looked like a mess. I used to do concrete form work so this is about the same thing.
