ID:	10118454 What’s the preferred way to deal with repairs of these little studs underneath the body. Nearly all of them under my car have corroded to the nuts and twist off when I try to remove. Pictured here are the ones used to attached the plastic inner fender (one twisted off, and one that stuck around).

I did a couple of those during my restoration. Clean small spot to the metal, find the screw that matched the nut, cut the head and the tip of the screw, weld to the car, paint and reapply the coating. You can use 3M seam sealer to match the coating.
    Have fun

Finally addressed the issue. My no-weld solution was
blind rivet nut -> short stud w a little dab of epoxy -> nut and washer

Not the most elegant, but where it pokes through the inner fender isn’t visible.
