rear ended, where to go from here

ive decided that i will offer the guy selling the vert whatever i get as a check for my car and the car itsself in exchange for the vert, if he doesnt want it then i will fix mine, most likely sell it, and find a nice 5 speed around the 5k range in the future

i know im going to catch some crap for this but im looking into trading my car as is and 3000 for a 96 m3 with 159k on the chassis and 70k on the rebuilt motor, its close by, its in good condition. im not too familiar with the e36's tho does anyone know any key things to look for with this car, problems etc?

does 3500 sound too good for that , im not so much worried about the condition of the exterior but the engine, would this sound reliable at all being rebuilt 70k ago?

3500 for the e36m3 no way. x3 and its probably still a good deal.
