Cost to repair rear quarter damage

Anyone have an idea what it would cost to repair something like this? It is not my car so I can't take it to get an estimate. I know it is not going to be cheap!

a lot.. call the dealer and ask them how much a new rear quarter panel and trunk will cost. may as well part it out.

I had a car with little bit of rear quater damage so i went to get an estimate and the body shop owner said yea it can be fixed but not for any less then 7k and i still would not even touch it. I ended up selling it for $250 as a parts car in the end, it too was an E30.

That car is defintally a parts car.

That is what I figured. I had a good body guy tell me to figure on about 3500-4k to get it done right. I may pick it up as a parts car depending on the price.

haha i remember that car. The guy was on here and bimmerforums saying his buddy "Tapped" the rear and it had slight dmg. When asked for pics he posted these and insisted it wasnt major dammage. The C pillar looks tweaked also.

It isn't. Rear has cuts in the cloth and driver's seat has splits in the side.

It seems like he could find a quarter panel from someone already parting their car and get it repainted.
