did your paint job come out bumpy? i did mine and wetsanded the hell out of them and still came out somewhat bumpy..i used testors tint spray and clear coat..it looks good from afar but up close you can see flaws
I stand up, pull my dick out, and asked my gf to give me some noggin... Well, she starts laughing at me and I freaked out and ran off and locked myself in a bedroom.
Na mine came out smooth and clean. All i did to prep was wash with warm water, soap, dry then i cleaned with rubbing alcohol. I havent used testers tint spray before, it could just be that. I got the VHT at Oreillys, was like 13 bucks but has gone along way. I did my headlights and all turn and side markers. I also did mine outside and the wind was blowing but turned out great. im pleased.

i did the turns and tails on my SC a while back with VHT, turned out great. you can tint tails pretty dark and it still comes out quite visible at night. ive never had any trouble with police in the year ive had them this dark. you have to watch how close/far you spray with it though. the difference in difference will give you either a matte or a gloss spray.
me and my bf both used vht on our taillights... it turned out really good and didnt even wet sand. he did his completly which looks good..and i taped off my reverse lights which look even better in my opinion.

Hell yeah i thought about that too. I would like to strip the reverse off and tape the rest off a use one really light spray, it had a more smoked look when i first did them. But a lesson learned when you use this stuff if dries darker than the last coat you put on.
Wow maximunangle you have had some wild cars, a turbo dodge van!?!??? Thats awesome.

yup. chrysler made caravans and voyagers with the k-turbo motor in 88 and 89. my old roomate has one with a stick that hes building for drag racing.
i had a problem with the boost solenoid on mine and it boosted the hell out of the turbo, ended up running 13's on stock trim. hella fast shit. if you floored it on the highway it'd try and torque steer into the next lane!
not to get OT, but funny story about how i ended up with an E30..has to do with that. i was selling the fiero and wanted another k-motor car bad, but wanted something RWD. it so happens that the 1st gen, 4cyl dodge dakota has the same motor but in NA trim. thus the plan was to buy a dak for a few hundred, swap a turbo motor, tub it, airbags, slicks and mods. guy i know was going to sell me his setup for his old drag van that was running high 10's low 11s and a motor for 800 bucks. race head, injectors, super 60 turbo (theres more but i wont bore you :nice:), everything to make 400whp with those motors. alas teh guy who i was buying the dak from sold out on me before i came the nxt day. and then i found my current e30 turbo on ebay! and am spending way more $ for a slower setup...but its still an e30! sorry for the long ass post. thought id share
