if the person that is mixing the paint for you knows anything at all about paint, he will also know that with every paint code there are chips. the chips are supplied by the paint manufacturer, and are used to get an exact match. when i was mixing paint all we used was a popsicle stick and i just had a good eye for color matching, but i still had my chips if i needed them. Secondly black trim has had to be in contact with some form of dressing like armor all or what ever. these have a lot of silicone in them and is the worst thing in the world for paint because it contains silicone, if silicone touches the paint you will fisheye for peel really bad in the end. you will have a much harder job trying to fix what you screwed up then if you just did it right. You need to do good prep work. clean the piece w/ simple green.(specificly) Dilute it about 1 to 4 parts water. once it is clean, i mean very clean, then blow out any air that could be in any cracks or crevices. then go down to the local auto paint shop and ask for a product called bulldog. It is a paint adhesive.(so the job does not peal and turn to crap later)yes it does come in a spray can. if you spray that and then use a good quality bumper trim spray you will have a very profesional looking job.(that is comeing from a pro. look us up i used to work for Colors on Parade http://www.colorsfranchise.com/)
IS front lip + Duplicolor bumper coating = good ?
