    Painting a 24V Intake Manifold?

Which paint to use on a composite intake manifold found on a 24V engine? Are the wrinkle finish paints appropriate? Self etching?

Any help/insight/experience you share is appreciated.

    TIA,
    Mark

mine was faded and wasnt to my liking so I cleaned it really well and used a vinyl spray dye, looks excellent and wont chip like paint.

Cool! Did you paint yours while it was installed, in the engine bay? Or did you mask everything?

I just remembered this thread - I ended up using Griot's Bumper & Trim Reconditioner. It worked vewy vewy well.

Kiwi leather shoe dye...on textured surfaces, it works very well. Smooth/flat, streaky and shitty.
