I don't know about the early cars, but on my later filler I drilled through the filler.. fuck drilling on the body!

No drilling but some modds are needed. Very simple and it looks awesome on other colors cars just not black ones like mine.

Edit and yes they are not common anywhere. In 4 years of doing parts I found 3 !!!

So I sell them for less than dealer but mine is tax free and shipping is included. And no I'm not the only source for parts I just make it convenient at some times.

so would you suggest not getting one on a Schwarz car or does it it help complete the back end even on the schwarz?

I had no drilling. Mine had 3 very accurately sized holes for the 4 U.S. spec gromit thingees that you screw the plate into. I just put the filler on, and put my plate back on. It kinda clicks into place, too so its secure. I say if you can get that cool later style one that has the flush part until is reccesses for the plate, then get it, other wise it will be unnoticeable. I wish they made that flush one for the early ones, that one looks nice. Im happy with it, and I cant believe how easy it was to get one from when I posted (thinking it was gonna be really hard to get) to delivery. Now my eta's been modded for the first time in a while and Ive shown it some *porn music* "Holiday Lovin'" for all its gone through with me, haha.

I saw a 325iS ( late model ) who the owner must've been too cheap to buy a filler so he just painted the whole area between tailights black ( on a zinno ). I think it looked great.
