    anyone modify there metal bumpers?

you have to excuse me, but i not sure if the metal bumpers are mounted with a hydrolic strut or if its just a metel tube. on the vw, like rabbits and scirocco's you can drill the strut out(messy oil spewing everywhere), then give them a good hit and they will compress in around 2.5", not a huge deal, but when dealing with the park benches that our cars have i was wondering if anyone has done it, or if there not struts that compress, then wondering if anyone has shortened them via cutting and welding. also don't know how it would lok with the existing trim, but...

I'm fairly certain it's Racing Dynamics.

Agreed. One of the only E30's I've ever seen that I actually truly liked the look of diving boards on.

The RD front spoiler? Probably not, it was designed for use with plastic/aluminum bumpered cars.
