metal bumper would be a good substitute if you didnt have the stock rebar (which i didnt), but it was too much cutting for me and my dremel

        cutting of that bracket

i said fuck with all this cutting and went to Home Depot and bought these metal brackets. 45cents each

started drilling holes for the bolts, but dremels are really good for drilling

so i go to my friends house to use his drill press

didnt realize that you had to hold the metal so hard, or else it will catch the drill bit and swing around a slice your hand

kinda of like what it did to my finger :D im alright though

brakets are done and on the bumper

here's a better idea of what the brackets look like, in case you didnt know what i was gonna use them for.

with the bumper shock on (not done yet, will make additional support)

and thats where i last left off, ive been busy with work so i havent been able to work on it for the last couple of days, but as soon as i mount it where i want and get a definate answer on how to attach the ends that i cut off, i will cut. Im a little weary on the cut so im gonna measure 10x+ before i cut

What are you going to do for turn signals?

i havent figured out turn signals yet, maybe where the fogs go on the e36 i can put my stock e30 turns just for now until i figure something out.

and im working on the drop, i thought my scholarship was paying for my tuition this semester and when i found out they werent i couldnt spend the money i wanted on the car. so that will have to wait.

I'm interested in how you will attach the sides...If it isn't held firmly all around your metal brackets will tear out and you will be left with a flexyflop bumper

How were the turns attached to the ebay 318 with this bumper?

Looking good. How do you plan on straightening out the bumper, since the E36 bumpers are very curved and the E30 front end is straight?

Let's drive fast and have fun.
