What is the best way to remove these? I want to fill the holes and paint. Bondo? Let me know how these are attatched and the best way to remove them and make it look good.

bondo? uh, no. not unless you want it to crack and fall apart after a while.. it's not just holes, it's a channel, it needs to be welded.

please tell me you aren't going to put bondo all over your ix..

They pry out. The doors and rear quarters should have 8 or 9mm bolts I believe that fasten them in. After you unfasten them, they should pry out like the front ones. You should be able to find the one in the door, and the other one is inside the wheel well. I'm not sure if the later models retained the rear quarter strips with the bolts, but mine has them.
I retired my E30 for now...

nando, don't worry man, I will run all my mods through you before I execute them. That way you can filter out all my bad ideas for our ix ;)

So, I am looking to do the kind of thing Jordan did with his. I think that looks really nice, so any info on how to do that would be great. Jordan...

Take it to a body shop and they can weld a piece of metal into the channel and all that jazz, then for a little paint.
