    What is this piece?

The piece below the stock valance, and above the black lip...what piece is that? Where can I get it? How much does it cost? I looked around a little in the latest 4 pages in this section and couldnt find much. Thanks for your help.

No such thing as dumb questions, only dumb..... :D

Might as well plan on knocking it off on a curb if you're the slightest bit careless around curbs.

It's actually a real Rieger lip, not the flexible one. Jordan is planning on selling it after his flexible replica comes in.

Factory iS lips on a stock height car will contact curbs, so I think the curb point is pretty moot.

When you have a front lip, you must actually know how to drive, that simple.

The real Rieger Infinity is a little over $200, like $210 I think.

there are some replicas on ebay right now, no idea of the quality though.. they are probably made out of fiberglass. can't wait to get mine, my i lip is starting to drive me nuts.

as far as hitting curbs, twice with my is lip I accidentally drove too far past a curb, but both times the lip was just a millimeter above the curb, not damaging the lip! you really do have to be careful, but it's not that big of a deal once you get used to it. just don't be like everyone else and try to pull all the way up until your tires hit the curb, I always park a good 2 feet back to be safe. E30s are small so you should have no problems even in compact parking spots.

FYI guys, chatting with Eurostyle last night he has an original Infinity lip in his shop now and will be offering a replica soon for ~$180cdn (not in stone yet). The iS lip replicas are $100cdn.
