    plastic bumper with diving board

    so an idea came to me, what if i where to swap my front bumper for the plastic bumper and leave the rear diving board and paint and tuck it? has anybody done this? anyone has any pics to share?

      A lot of people do this. You update the front with the late model valence too. Its usually only done because people are lazy, broke, or unskilled in the ways of fabbing up the rear. Which category do you fall into? lol

        broke and unskilled lol. i'm mostlikely just gonna use the 88+ valences and paint the bumpers

          Some people do that so they can put a tow hitch on the rear using the aluminum bumper as a brace. If you tuck your rear bumper however, it would defeat the purpose.

                      The rear 88 shocks will not compress like the fronts. I had to swap them with a 87 325 car I had. Anyway, just get the plastics. Shouldn't cost too much these days.
