Alright i ordered some stuff today,
2 bottles of GlossHaus Foundation I compound
2 yellow pads, 2 orange pads and 2 white pads

When i get everything in a few days i'll take a crack at it and see what kind of results i get. If i find the machine i have isn't working too well my neighbor has a polisher i can borrow, but it's not random orbit so it scares me a bit.

Ever make any progress on this? Still interested as I'm hating my paint more and more every day :hitler:

When i first got the car i was able to scratch it off with a fingernail, i think i waited too long and the paint got too hard. The pads did nothing noticeable. I start sanding with sand paper, the car is up for sale at the moment,. If i end up keeping it i'll sand all the paint off and post up some pics

Edit: you said your paint was coming off with duct tape, you may still have some hope
