    Mtech 2 Removal

Does removing the MT2 cabrio kit leave any clip/screw openings in the body that dont get covered up by standard side mouldings?

yes, many, unless it was installed in an unorthodox manner.

There are holes behind every piece. All the way down the rocker, on the front fender, on the side rear valence, and on the front valence. For example, this is what lurks behind the front fender.

Those unpainted holes dont look factory.

I am talking about pulling a MT2 from a 91 Mtech cabrio. installing standard plastic bumpers and selling the car without full body repair!

Yes but they were drilled using the factory template. Pull some of the pieces, see what you find.

Just pulled an M-Tech II kit.....here are the holes. Left the bottom row of clips on the car.

you can install the same amount of clips on the door mouldings to cover the holes on the side. but the one on the fender must be patched in.
