LOL. Yeah WTF are you talking about? the lower panels are supposed to be black but it wears away after a while and some repaint it body color to look like a substitute for a skirt. It's a personal choice...IF that's what you're talking about.

it's a 90 but i'm gonna look into fabricating something like this. it'd cover up the stock ugliness down there and look factory on top of it w/o having to buy skirts.

the more i look at it the more it messes with my head. would be a cool piece if someone made this in oem texture style.

reminds me of the pieces that i shaved off my 72 monte carlo (not mine in pic). it would be the lower aluminum trim piece in the middle but in black textured plastic and below the door line:

it looks like a plastic textured cap that covers the rocker panel in the first picture and a smooth cap in the second picture.

kinda like a skirt but not rally and kinda like mkii golf trim piece but not really:
