Mounting Reiger Lip Replica

Anyone figured out a good way to do it?

The upper lip isn't really big enough to get good hardware on there, so I was thinking of making some sort of extension and then using a bunch of small bolts and washers.

I'm also concerned with the bolts tearing the plastic on the lip at higher speeds or if I nick a speedbump. Maybe lots (20+) of high strength zip ties?

Yup, the zip tie method works. I used it when mounting my replica is lip (a while ago). Dont use too high strength ones, the benefits of zip ties is that if you scrape or hit anything the zip ties will be the first to pop off and not much damage to ur lip.

You need about 10.

when i test mounted mine to my "i" lip i used about 8 zip ties, by the time i got home off a 20 minute highway trip, 3 of the zip ties ripped the rieger lip, i dont know if its a good idea...

I haven't tried to mount mine yet, I was thinking of using zip ties as well, but I'd still need to reinforce the holes I'd need to drill on the lip.

have you guys all fixed the problem where the lip is about 1/4" too short on the passenger side? what did you do about it? it's not a huge amount so I was thinking of just leaving it as is, but it will bug me if it looks wacky. teaches me for buying replica parts..

Wierd, unless you hit something i dont know why that would happen. Mine stayed on solid for a few months... till i scraped it, and then eventually ran it over.

Yeah, the lips are super-crappy apparently. I had 20 zip ties on my Eurostyle iS fibreglass replica, never tore until I smacked something on the highway, hard enough to take the oil cooler grill with it.

I think molding some sort of stronger extension on the top would be the best method.

wait, hold on one sec the only things from reiger I have heard of is there knock off E46 front bumper and the GTS front and no one has posted any pics of this piece of shit so dont call me retarded and ask me is i have been reading the posts because I have.

The front lip on my car is a genuine Reiger Infinity lip. The replica is a worthless peice of fucking garbage. Understand?
