    DIY Fender rolling

Well i put my spacers on with my Borbets, and the rear tires rub when i get on the throttle or go over a bump. Now I've seen some DIYs using a heat gun and a baseball bat, but im asking if there are any other ways that may yeild better results.

    TIA

Doesn't somebody on the forum own a fender roller?

    Maybe you can borrow his.

Heat gun and a baseball bat?

I think of one of the bimmer forums (might have been bimmerforums.com), some guy was "renting out" a roller for something like $55, he pays shipping to you, you pay for shipping back or something. I'll edit if I find the thread.

        EDIT: Found it.

Pure Motorsport rents out a tool for $50, with $300 deposit too.

I have no idea how a baseball bat would do any good. I used a heavy pipe to try and roll my rears a little bit and it didn't do shit.. that and it would be pretty much impossible to get a baseball bat in the 1/4" space between my tire and the fender (anyone with a lowered car is probably in the same posistion).

You could try jacking up the rear to get a little bit more space when rolling the fenders.

I could, but getting a jack under my car isn't exactly easy. not something I was really worried about anyway, my tires don't rub now except with 2 large adult passengers over bumps..

                      Hey Kyle,

I'll let you borrow my aluminum softball bat. Worked on the '88, and I rolled the '89 this morning before the poker run.
