    Mounting iS airdam

Those of you utilizing the stock airdam on the 87 325is, how did you mount it aside from using the stock bracket? I've thought about just screwing it into the bumper after doing a little tuck surgery. Any thoughts on this? thanks

My 86es airdam is mounted to a tucked bumper, I drilled & tapped the aluminum. Once done, easier to mount/dismount than nuts & bolts 'cause its tough to access the nut/bolt that is inside the bumper.
