I have some spots that don't come out with polishing so how should I get them out? I was thinking of wetsanding with 1000 grit sand paper and then putting a 3m rubbing compound on, I've never done this before though so does this sound right?
you can do it but it's dangerous. I would go up to 1500 grit, 3m rubbing compound isn't meant for 1000 grit. have fun but you're likely to sand too far through the paint..
