Spoiler question. Opinions needed.

Hey I need a new front spoiler/ airdam thing for my 87 is. I could get a factory BMW one from a local dealer but it seems to be cheaper to go with a racing dynamics one, considering the cost of fog lights. My question is this, I imagine the rd will hang down lower than the origional. Will this look way dumb with out the matching skirts/apron? Oh yeah and what the hell exactly is m-tech?

for an 87, any aftermarket front spoiler you get wont look to low. they will all be similar in size. and im curious, how much did the dealer want for the stock one? (didnt think they supplied them anymore)

Yeah i was surprised when they said they cold get me one. $375 w/o fogs

IMO, any factory front valance is much better than a poor fitting aftermarket one, especially fiberglass. you can easily swap the whole front bumper/valance off a newer car and use any combination of spoilers/airdams that fit the later style (rieger, is lip, mtech, etc).

or go early euro style, but that's even harder to get in the states.
