If it were mine I would go buy (maybe get em for free) some diving boards throw them back on there spend what money you were gonna spend on paint into suspension and have a sweet sleeper. Oh, ya, and get some bottlecaps or weaves or something.

Yeah well right now I know it looks like shit. I just can't wait to get it painted and everything.. it will look sooo much better, I honestly hate the color(s) it is now.. but hey.. whatever.



But yeah anyway, the guy thought the engine or something hardcore was toast.. but either way I knew with an engine or not I'd still be able to get some money from parting the car so why not try? A few hundred of dollars and pretty much free labor, myself.. I got a decent BMW 325. Yeah about the m50, I honestly had no idea it was a non-stock engine, he never said anythign about it.. not sure if thats good or bad, maybe he was the same thing, as in that he didn't know it was swapped either. But yeah, I looked at another 325 around here and was like.. uh.. totally different engine.. much older looking.

But yeah, I've seen e30's around with the oldschool diving boards.. not my style.. make the car look like its in the past. Even if it has a shitty kit, the normal person wouldn't know that its extremely fake and whatever.. if it was up to me, I would've kept the diving boards until I had enough money to either buy a real reiger.. or somehow get mtech2 shit.. even though I see its pretty hard to find without having to sell your body organs. But for $1200, did I really do that bad? I honestly could have done much worse with my money that buy this car. I've only lost one race so far.. even though I don't really race much only being 17 because yeah.. new driver and points = not good. (Lost to my friends Acura RSX-s w/ a supercharger.. shit is niceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, I'll get some pictures one day :-) )

More opinions please, even if you think its ugly.. just don't rub it in too much, or like Beemerfanatik said, I may be forced to make fun of the large size of your mothers vaginal opening.

Anyhoo...Get a quote from a bodyshop, and do most of the prep work yourself. Buy a set of basketweaves off the FS forum and lower that thing. Putting that god awful body kit back on ebay and getting a pair of shadowlined diving boards would also be a good option...

I rest my case. Look at the paint color on the strut housings - dark brown, don't know the paint code. Doesn't come close to matching the original color.
