    Euro bumper centers?

Have a friend looking to buy them new - someone mentioned them being 99 at the stealer. He called his stealer and they told him they're NLA - what's the deal? Anyone?

NLA in the states. They have to be shipped over from BMW AG. If he can get a part number, BMA can order them. I'm guessing they're more than $99 though.

The front bumper comes in three sections and each section is around $99 each... so a new one less mouldings and lights will run you around $300

Good luck with the sale. Euro bumpers are sweet.
      Maybe he'll know?

Have him call a dealer with parts guys who arn't lazy bums.

There are the part numbers for you. If he needs the number of a dealership, I can get him the number of the local one here.(if it's can be had they can get it)

Keep in mind that dealer prices will be more than realoem.com

Scott is trying to help me out with this, that's why he posted the thread. And why he posted it in General Discussion, just because he wants to help out as much as he can.

I had part #s from realoem, and explained the part, said I knew they would have to come from Germany most likely because it was a european car that they came on.

My dealer won't ship them over maybe they think it's too much of a hassle? They were indeed lazy. It took them two days to get back to me (I expressed loads of interest in them, and wanted a price quote and after that would buy them) he just told me basically everything I already knew. BMW doesn't make them, and he for some reason couldn't get them from Germany.

I was willing to pay the markup from the dealer (average like 20-50 more then realoem in my experince) but I couldn't get them from my dealer.

I'll give BMA a call today after work. Thanks guys.
              Or possibly call another dealership.

If you need the number of the Parts pimp here let me know, way back when I had euro's he got me the passenger turn, and impact strip from Mobile tradition. He'll ship the parts to you when they come in.

You're quite bitter over this. Aside from this post, all of the other responses were helpful, and accomplished the goal that was trying to be reached. If you need to move a post - move it. Don't post complaining about it. It's your job as a moderator to move posts that aren't in the right section.

PS - I didn't think information about ordering parts wasn't a general discussion topic. I stand, of course, corrected.

These two things - I'm looking on realoem, but not getting an answer.

Does anyone know what comes with the "mounting hardware" package? What else do I need besides that and the two front bumper brackets?

I was at the dealer yesterday, and asked about the rear chrome euro bumper-- I am in germany. I was told and saw on the screen, that the rear bumper cannot be ordered complete. you have to order each piece individually. the sides were 99 euros per side, the middle was 120 euros, and the rest is the bolts, clips, and bumper pad. it all together came out to 420 euros. pretty damn expensive!!
