My home depot front valance project

So my front valance was all jacked up and I needed a cheap replacement. Picked up some garden edge at home depot and quickly mocked it up. I think I'm gonna use a piece of strap metal and bolt that to the car and the lip to the strap metal so it will lay nice and flat but here's a VERY rough mock up

Go to the junk yard. Find a late '80s toyota something or other, cant remember exactly what it was. And buy the lip off of it for $5. Thats what I did and it looks much better than that.

Not the best picture of the lip, but all i have right now. Some people like it, some people dont. But it takes the abuse from cones all the time and thats what I need it to do.
