    I just did mine yesterday.
    Solvent tanked then media blasted then cleaned with carb cleaner the sprayed with high temp caliper paint..

        no. he painted it with aluminum paint.

          No I masked it off. Its fairly easy. Just overlay the tape and then run a sharp exacto knife alond the side using it as a guide. It took about 30 minutes maybe . I'm going to start the intake manifold to match next week.

            i dont see the point of masking the letters. An orbital sander takes all of 2 minutes to smooth that shit out and make it look amazing

              Its all about what you wanna do i guess. I liked the raw cast surface coming through so thats how I did it. Im also a machinist by trade so I could fly cut it to a mirror finish after paint as well. I just decided not to..
