    Removing Side Trim

So I am shadowlining my car, and would rather take the side trim off. Tips? Does it pull off?

There is a piece that joins the c-pillar trim to the rest of the trim. Slide that piece forward to disconnect the two trim pieces, Start at the bottom of the A-pillar and work your way back.

The best piece of advice I can give you is to go to a junkyard and remove the trim off every e30 there. After that, you should have the technique down.
    Then practice reinstalling it.

9mm hex nut at the back of the door holding it on, open door and look, remove and pry from that end. Front fender will pop off. Rear 1/4 trim has the same 9mm nut by the rear tire, then pops off from there. 9mm socket and your hands is all you need and you won't damage paint. If you break the white clips, they are $2ea at the dealer.
