Small screwdriver. Place a towel as close to the edge you can when you pry on it. Just pry around the roundel evenly. Not one side of it. It just pops out.

          Wait!!!! Front or rear?

Rear follow their directions but for the front dont go near your paint with a screwdriver.

Instead pop the hood but dont raise it. Behind the roundel on the underside of the hood you will see the 2 grommets that hold the roundel in. There will be two plastic pins sticking out of those grommets. Push those pins up with an awl or a small phillips and you can push the roundel completely out without touching the front. Then just push the new one on.
          Im now E30less.

Instead of using a towel, a credit card or similar card works better to pry against.
