E30 battery Cable Cover In Inner Rear Wheel Well???

    E30 battery Cable Cover In Inner Rear Wheel Well???

    Okay in my E30 IX on the passenger rear inner wheel well the barttery cable's run from the trunk threw the wheel well and into the car and it has a cover that covers the wires running threw and can't found it on the realoem parts list to replace !!

    Need to replace asap water is leaking into the car when driving :(

    Anyone run into this problem or where i can get the part??

    For the mean time just goober it up with liquid electrical tape, or epoxy some plastic over it. Or go to a junkyard and find one :)

      Yeah found it talked to my friend at a bmw dealer and know what I was talkin about....ordered it new!

              That part covers the fuel and evap hoses, not the battery cable. The battery cable runs in the trunk through the back seat area.

              You can find part numbers at realoem.com, and you can order it from the dealer or the vender of your choice.

              The part number is 16131179011, and it's about $35. You may want to order new plastic nuts for it (16131176747 x6).
