    318is m3

I search and could not find if the m3 fender flares would be a direct bolt up to a 91 318is. No I don't want the fiberglass ones, they are too wide.

I found some m3 fenders for really cheap thats why I am asking. Also i think it may be nice to have a slightly wider stance.

It's not that easy, even if they physically bolt up.
The front bumper and sideskirts (if you have any) won't match up anymore.
What would your plans be for the rear?

Do you realize how much skill and money it would take to get it to look even decent?

The front fenders bolt on, but it will take major bodywork to get the rear flares.

The rear trunk area of a 325/318 is completely different from an M3. The M3 c pillars are MUCH wider and go farther back on teh fender. In order to make it look correct, you would have to swap the entire rear section of the car, not just the fenders. IMO, not worth the hassle/money.

You silly newbie, making one car look like another car is only for Asians. You can fit 245s under an e30, that'll be plenty to hold down your four banger.

it would have been nice to be able to swap fenders and make it look the same but its just too much work and money. If you got the time money and patience do it, but youll be working on it omore than its worth.

i don't want to do it to make it look like a m3. I want to do it because i want a widebody. So i figured it would be best to go with the m3 fenders cause they look nice. and i may be buying a 88' m3.

Are you getting an M3 parts car? What are your plans for the 318? Widebody car with 4 cylinder stock engine is not really worth it?

well i have not bought the 318is yet. I plan on doing the s50/m50 engine swap on the 318 or the m3. I can get a cood deal on either of them, so i don't know which one i will buy. I would rather have the m3 though.

M3 for sure. Better brakes, better suspension and 5-lug. Plus you could get more for the S14 then the M42/M10 (which ever).

You dont need anymore than 245's all around even with an S50.
