    yup..time for new metal and por-15

      Well, I didn't POR-15 it, but I did weld new sheet metal in and primered/oil-base painted it. Thanks for shunning the fiberglass, guys, I think I would have regretted if I just plastered the entire thing.

        I'm going through similar work with identical rust problems. I'm actually cutting out the entire left front of the car except for the frame rail, welding a new drivers side firewall and floorboard in, and putting a new strut tower in.
