It is a little off.. but with the bumper there to sort of break the two pieces up, you can't even tell. I think for small stuff like mirrors, valances, etc. that is good enough.

I just got the two by dupli-color that were closest. Wimbledon white was a little too yellow and olympic white was a little too white. But with a little blending, it looks pretty fricking good. A hell of a lot better than rust. I think it looks good, and if you want a body shop to do it, great. I prefer a few hours and $13.

Updated original post with clean car pics. There was a Dover option but it was really yellow, mine is just plain old Arctic White.

i tried dover/polar and regular artic white and didnt match at all...
but mixed the two by doing light layers of them and the same time and matched somewhat but ran out of paint
                        ill take pictures

You can have a quart of alpine white mixed at an automotive paint supply store for about $50.

There appear to be several different codes for which arctic white is best, unfortunately I already threw away the spray can.

And sure you can have some Alpine White mixed up but then you need to get a spray gun, an air compressor and have an idea how to correctly spray automotive paint. This is $7 and as you can see from my pics it's quite acceptable for small to medium sized parts.

Let's not forget the OP's car is Alpine 1. Alpine 2 paint is a little brighter white.

yes i noted its an early model that he has....but i have tried about 5 different whites and none have matched with what i am happy with...so im going to go to a paint supply store my neighbor told me about to get some alpine2 paint in rattle cans. he said to get atleast 5 bottles so it wont be as expensive...dont have a clue how much they would be my budget for paint only would be around 150....
