    Oxidation?

Is there any cure for this kind of oxidation?

The moral here is: never look at a car at night.

if it's single stage, a high speed orbital will take it right out for sure. if it has a clearcoat, it depends on how deep it is.

a detailing/body shop should be able to tell you.

Pardon the fuck out of me. I have no idea about paint, was hoping somebody else did. This isn't my car. I'm posting to try to learn something, not to be an asshole.

I named the car in the hopes someone knew something more than I did.

For the second time now, I'm not trying to be an asshole, so calm the fuck down. Don't spin this into something it ain't.

Lol wtf OP? Calm down and people will be more likely to help you. I'm a detailer and i'll tell you this much:
The hood is definitely fixable, it will need to be compounded and polished, or maybe even just polished on a buffer. You can do this by hand. Go to kragen, buy a tub (it'll be a tub, not bottle) of rubbing compound, a bottle of swirl remover, and wax. Follow the directions and do it in that order.

For the side, if it's bubbling, you're basically fucked. You'll have to strip it off and spray new clear coat on it. Go to a bodyshop for this and they'll probably polish your hood for free. If it's not bubbling, repeat what you did on the hood. Since it's really not an old car, it seems like crappy paint, so make sure you always keep it waxed (re-apply every 3 months for an average cheap wax)/
The first car I ever rode in was an e30
