I have a set of plastic bumpers and valance to go on my 85, but im having 2nd thoughts about it. Not sure if I should sell the stuff I have and throw some extra cash towards some euros or just fit them.

All depends on what direction you want to go with the car? My 87 had plastic swap. But i like a more "old school" look. So euro's went on in their place.

Chrome bumpers for an early model (or a pre-facelift as they're called this side of the pond).

BTW nice car , nice wheels.

                    euro bumpers > plastic bumpers

i love the degree of curvature on the top of the euro bumpers. i think it looks so much better than the relatively flat top of the plastic bumpers.

i voted for the powdercoated euro bumpers, but that's cuz i've seen powdercoated m-tech I cars that are just absolute tits.

i have the chrome on mine right now with a bbs front spoiler and i think it looks pretty good.

I love euro's but the costs of them has forced me to swapping plastic bumps.

Leave the DB's or go chrome Euro. Early models FTW!

ya euros look the best hands down, my only dilemma is
                            1. I already have all the facelift stuff
                            2. Like someone has already mentioned... the cost of euros, ahhhh

Now if I could find a nice set of euro for a good price there'd be no question about making a decision haha.

Do the tow hooks have to be cut off for the facelift valance?
Where are the tow hooks on the 88 models, since they use DBs and a facelift valance.
