I can't tell if that's a dent or not. Take a real picture, then send the hood so he can eat it. I would have taken it to Jesse. Mine came out fresh as fuck. (pun intended)

Maybe you should realize we're not "hatin" and we might have a clue as to what we're talking about.

thats something I dont understand. many people will go out and paint the exterior, and then do things like rebuild the suspension , rebuild or swap engines etc and take the chance of damage the new paint job,
              just dont get it
              but thats me
id do all my wrenching first painting things like engine bays at that time, and then the bod,

Wow, I missed this, I've been busy.

FWIW, I think it looks like a $1300 paint job. And I think it looks good. It's not a show car... But this is r3v so expect criticism. It could've been a $10,000 Lambo orange pearl paint job and you'd have had a whole bunch of thumbs-ups and just as many people telling you you wasted your damn money or should've done something different.

If you want your car to look good at 0ft, 2ft, 10ft, 20ft, or a football field away, and it looks that good to you, then I'm happy for you. That's not to say that there isn't some good advice in this thread, because there certainly is. I encourage those reading to disregard the harshness but pay attention to the criticism.

Nice color, btw, and I think you accomplished the goal for originality. Enjoy and please don't let the comments stop you from posting pics once you get the wheels painted and do other things.

He painted the oil cooler blue, the cowel vents, and moldings as well.
I bet his muffler is blue too along with the spare wheel well.
I also read that the roundel was taped off LOL?

Poor preparation usually leads to shoddy work.

You act like the oil cooler is essential... Would I paint it? No, it would look dumb. Will it make a difference? Not likely.

Yes, it does make a difference. Shows the difference between a good prep job, and a half assed one. someone that cares enough about their reputation going out the door looking like a half assed spray bombed POS and a professional job CARES, and that MAKES A DIFFERENCE

Unless he painted the whole car with radiator paint...the chances are high that the oil cooler won't be as efficient now ;)
